Terms & Conditions

By submitting your order to Krog Vision you confirm:

  • You are aged 16 or over and are not registered blind or partially sighted.

  • You are in possession of a written prescription for your spectacles that has been given to you by a suitably qualified person in the last 24 months (or 12 months if you are aged 70 or over).

  • You will supply an accurate copy (photograph or scan) by email to stjohn@krogvision.com of your current prescription, including any notes pertaining to the prescription, when requested.

Orders for Goods

  • Orders must be via the website at www.krogvision.com.

  • Submission of an order represents an offer to purchase goods from Krog Vision and we may confirm receipt of this offer via email.

  • Prescription orders are only accepted by us once your payment has been processed and the order has been reviewed and authorised by our Optometrist. In the case of the non prescription goods your order is accepted once the required payment has been receive.

  • An accurate copy (photograph or scan) of your current prescription as noted in Customer Obligations, including any notes pertaining to the prescription, will be supplied at time of order.

  • The pupillary distance measurement on all prescription glasses, if not supplied with the prescription, will be 63mm for distance prescriptions and 60mm for near (reading) prescriptions.

 

Limitations of Supply

  • We will make a reasonable effort to ensure that all orders are fulfilled; however we cannot guarantee the availability of all goods. If the goods you have ordered are unavailable, we will attempt to contact you to give you the choice to receive an alternative or a refund. In circumstances where we are unable to contact you, your order will be cancelled and you will be given a full refund.

  • On the advice of our Optometrist, we have absolute discretion as to whether or not to accept your order.

  If considered necessary before an order is accepted, Krog Vision’s Optometrist has absolute discretion to;

  1. Request that you send us a copy of your written prescription.

  2. Contact directly, or request you to contact, the optician who provided your prescription to verify and/or discuss your prescription.

  3. Request you to obtain your pupillary distance measurement from your optician.

  4. Request that you obtain a new written prescription from your optician.

  5. Orders with prescription lenses will take up to 10 days to be fitted before the item is dispatched.

 

Online Payment

  • Payments are accepted via WORLD PAY.

  • ​Payments are accepted via a PayPal account. ( MasterCard, VISA Debit and  American Express )

Delivery

  1. Delivery is FREE for UK customers and international shipping is available on a low fee basis. 

  2. We will make reasonable endeavours to ensure your goods are dispatched to you as quickly as possible after placing your order.

  3. You will be notified by email at the time your goods are dispatched.

  4. Delivery of the goods will be made to the address provided by yourself at the time of placing your order.

  5. If your goods are not delivered safely within a reasonable number of days of you receiving notification of dispatch, you must contact us by email at stjohn@krogvision.com with the correct order number given with confirmation email so the issue can be resolved.

  6. Customers must inspect goods delivered to them to ensure that they are as expected and if you are not happy with the product please contact us immediately.

  7. In the case of non delivery, if Krog Vision is at fault, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or re-delivery.

 

Returns Policy

The conditions of returns:

You may return, exchange or receive a refund on your glasses if they are defective on arrival, providing that the following conditions are met:

  • You are required to let us know via email to stjohn@krogvision.com within fourteen days after the goods have been despatched. The returned goods need to reach us within 30 days of our original dispatch date.

  • Include a copy of the original invoice with your returned goods.

  • Returns must be in their original condition and with all accessories (cloths and cases) included in your package.

  • You were not advised, by us or by information on our website, when you purchased that your original order was inappropriate for your needs.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do return a product it is advised to do so by insured special delivery.  Please retain proof of postage from the post office as we are unable to take responsibility for packages lost in post. 

How do I return an item?

Krog Vision want to make sure you are completely happy with your purchase, but we do realise that occasionally, issues may arise. We will do everything in our power to ensure that this is resolved quickly and efficiently. Following receipt of your purchase if you are not satisfied, please email customer support at stjohn@krogvision.com. We aim to reply to all our customer emails within 24 hours to arrange a return.
